The College of Business at San Francisco State University is proud to announce our 5th Annual Women’s Emerging Leadership Forum. This annual event brings together successful and aspiring leaders to engage, discuss and learn ways to enhance their leadership skills, share insights and make meaningful connections.

Please Join Our Keynote Speaker Caretha Coleman

This year, we are honored to have as our keynote speaker, Caretha Coleman, a principal of Coleman Consulting and former chairwoman of the board of Dignity Health, a $14 billion healthcare system headquartered in San Francisco.

Caretha Coleman

As a principal of Coleman Consulting, Coleman’s practice focuses on working with start-ups and early stage ventures in the areas of strategy development, executive coaching and organizational effectiveness.

Coleman was a founding member and advisory committee member of The Angels’ Forum. She has served as campaign chair of the East Palo Alto YMCA, member of the board emeriti of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, on the National board of Facing History and Ourselves, as well serves on its Bay Area advisory board. Coleman demonstrates her commitment to provide quality healthcare to the underserved by her work on the Dignity Health board, and an advisory board member of the Ravenswood Health Clinic.

She is also a member of the National diversity and inclusion committee for the US Tennis Association, and is an American Leadership Forum Fellow. Coleman is a member of Black Corporate Directors, and was named an Outstanding Board Director by the Silicon Valley Business Journal in 2015, and one of the Bay Area’s Most Influential Women by the San Francisco Business Times in 2015 and 2016. She is a recipient of the YMCA’s Red Triangle award, and received the Black Enterprise Trailblazer award, and was named as a Visionary Leader by the SF Chronicle.

We look forward to seeing you on September 21!
